Aim of the laser test:
Bond & Detach 76565 from tesa® was tested by eurolaser in the in-house application laboratory with regard to its properties during laser cutting. The following requirements were taken into account in the test:
Smooth and precise cuts possible
Easy removal of the cut parts
High repetition accuracy
No adhesive residue and no time-consuming cleaning
No material damage during cutting
Test result:
The test shows that the adhesive tape can be cut by our laser system with the highest cutting quality and high repetition accuracy. Simultaneous cutting and collecting enables cost-efficient production.
Time-consuming cleaning of the machines and tools is no longer necessary thanks to non-contact cutting with the laser. The tool does not become blunt either, thus avoiding time-consuming downtimes for tool changes. We therefore award the Bond & Detach tesa® 76565 the rating ‘Excellent suitability’.
