INVENTEX® Spezialtextilwerk Funke was founded in 1997. The term INVENTEX® combines the words "inventor" and"textile", which became the company's trademark. Specializing in woven and knitted fabrics made of aramid fibers, the company has since filed numeorus patents. INVENTEX® processes KEVLAR®, NOMEX® and TWARON®, among others, and today customers from over 25 countries are served from Hof in Upper Franconia.
