How did laser cutting come about?
Unlimited design possibilities in wood processing
The idea of laser cutting emerged during the development of the extraordinary Feng Shui collection, which was created in collaboration with certified Feng Shui partners. This energy design, developed in accordance with Feng Shui principles, can be laser-engraved into the veneer in a wide variety of ways. For this special innovation, GRAUTHOFF Türengruppe has already received the Wood Innovation Award as well as the “TOP 100” distinction as one of Germany’s most innovative companies.
eurolaser XL-1200
Attractive wooden doors manufactured to high-end standards
For processing, high-quality materials combined with a dynamic spirit of the times and state-of-the-art production processes are a matter of course. For several years now, an XL-1200 laser system from eurolaser has also been part of the production setup, offering the ability to combine high productivity, master craftsmanship and a passion for wood. This allows market requirements and customer wishes to be met even more effectively, with no limits on design possibilities.
Since we have been using the eurolaser laser system, we have had exceptional opportunities for even more individual door design. Depending on the template – whether a signature, logo, room designation or anything else – we apply everything to the door that the customer desires.

How innovation strengthens competitiveness
Another highly successful product is the Orchard Collection, in which laser technology is used to create visually appealing yet subtle motifs as veneer inlays, giving each door a distinctive appearance. The collection responds to customers’ longings for enchanted gardens and magical landscapes, setting new standards in veneer processing. The Orchard Collection has already been honoured with the Woody Award by the German Timber Trade Association. It is an example of how investments in new technologies can support international competitiveness and, in turn, the long-term viability of a company.
