Laser Test: AKUSTICO® and SILENCIO®
Laser cutting of acoustic and digital print textiles
Material
AKUSTICO® is a sound-absorbing, highly abrasion-resistant upholstery material. SILENCIO® stands out as a flame-retardant, sound-absorbing digital print medium with a unique 3D structure. Both textiles are specifically designed for sophisticated interior applications, combining functionality with high design standards.
Test setup
The test was carried out on a eurolaser 3XL-3200 with 40–200 W laser power. The Conveyor System enabled automated processing directly from the roll. In addition, the POSITION+ professional camera recognition system was used to cut printed materials precisely and without material waste.
Result
AKUSTICO® and SILENCIO® were cut precisely and without scorch marks. Even the smallest contours were executed perfectly, with cleanly fused edges. The laser cutting process was contactless and distortion-free – ensuring consistent quality without reworking. Excellently suitable for precise and demanding cut patterns.

Laser Test: Artist Mambo® and Softimage
Laser cutting of digital print textiles
Material
Artist Mambo® is a flame-retardant polyester fabric with a single-sided coating, ideal for backlit applications such as LED frames and exhibition stand construction. Softimage includes variants such as Elastico®, Creaseless Premium® and Contrast®, which are characterised by elasticity, crease resistance and specialised coatings. All materials are suitable for digital printing and meet high requirements in terms of colour brilliance and fine detail reproduction.
Test setup
The tests were carried out on a eurolaser 3XL-3200 with 40–200 W laser power and a Conveyor System for automated roll processing. POSITION+ professional ensured precise cutting of printed materials.
