eurolaser tested the following Oppboga materials on the laser cutting systems:
Laser test: Oppboga Excellent™
Laser cutting of sustainable premium cardboard
Material
Oppboga Excellent™ is a white premium cardboard made from 100% FSC-certified virgin wood fibres. It stands out for its low weight, high opacity and triple-coated, high-white surface for brilliant print results. The material is PVC-free, fully recyclable and offers an environmentally friendly alternative to plastic composites – ideally suited for POS displays, signage, shop window decorations and packaging.
Test setup
The laser test was carried out on a eurolaser M-1600 CO₂ laser cutting machine with 125 W power. Thanks to the vacuum table, no additional material fixation was required. The objective was precise, contact-free cutting with clean edges and no need for post-processing.
Result
Oppboga Excellent™ was cut precisely and cleanly on the laser cutting machine. The cut edges were smooth and free from residues – even with complex contours. Thanks to contact-free processing without tool wear, the cutting results remained consistently high in quality. eurolaser technology proved to be the ideal solution for the creative, precise and sustainable processing of cardboard.
Advantages
Maximum precision, even with complex contours
High flexibility in contour design
Clean and perfect cut edges without post-processing
Precise cutting of printed material

Laser test: Oppboga Resilient™
Laser cutting of moisture-resistant cardboard
Material
Oppboga Resilient™ is a durable cardboard based on 100% FSC-certified virgin wood fibres. It combines high rigidity with excellent moisture resistance – completely PVC-free and fully recyclable. The robust structure is excellently suitable for long-lasting displays, sturdy packaging and applications in indoor as well as protected outdoor environments.
Test setup
The material test was carried out using a eurolaser M-1600 CO₂ laser cutting machine with 125 W laser power. The vacuum table used enabled secure positioning without additional fixation. The assessment focused on cut quality, contour accuracy and detail precision – particularly with complex geometries and tight radii. Special attention was paid to maintaining the material properties after cutting.
Result
Oppboga Resilient™ demonstrated excellent performance in the laser cutting process. The cut lines were consistently clean, smooth and free from thermal residues. Even with fine contours, dimensional stability was maintained – including under the influence of moisture. The laser cutting machine enabled tool-free processing with high precision – ideally suited for demanding and sustainable applications in the display and packaging sector.
Advantages
Consistently uniform cut quality
Smooth, clean cut edges
Fast, contact-free processing
Large-format cutting
