eurolaser tested the following materials from Neschen on its laser cutting machines:

Laser cutting of self-adhesive wallpapers
Material
PVC-free wallpapers for customised wall designs, suitable for large-format printing with a smooth or textured surface. Compatible with (eco)solvent, UV/UVgel inks and latex inks. Fire-certified (EN 13501, ASTM E84), washable, durable and easy to process or remove.
Test setup
Carried out on a eurolaser L-1200 laser cutting machine with integrated Conveyor System and a laser power of 400 watts. The material was processed directly from the roll, enabling an efficient and continuous cutting process.
Result
The material was cut precisely and cleanly. The contact-free laser processing resulted in smooth cut edges without scorch marks. No post-processing was required. If required, the top material layer can be cut using a kiss-cut process.

Laser test: easy dot® PET
Laser cutting of self-adhesive PET film
Material
The self-adhesive, PVC-free films are ideal for smooth surfaces in indoor and outdoor environments – perfect for shop window decorations, sales promotion campaigns or exhibition stands. They contain 25% recycled PET (PCR), offer up to 40% material savings compared to PVC films and are characterised by shrink-free flatness, very good print quality and bubble-free adhesion. The films can be removed without residue and are ideally suited for kiss-cut applications.
Test setup
Tested on a eurolaser L-1200 laser cutting machine with 400 watts laser power and integrated camera recognition system POSITION+ professional. The film was processed directly from the roll via the Conveyor System, enabling a continuous and efficient workflow.
Result
The material was cut precisely and in a material-friendly manner. The laser processing enabled smooth, clean edges without material damage or scorch marks. Even the finest details and complex shapes were implemented with high precision. Kiss-cut applications can be carried out without difficulty.
