V-Cut technology combined with laser cutting

In order to meet the high demands of the market, extensive expertise is required – particularly in the processing of technical textiles and plastics such as PET felt. SKT has specialised in processing this material: by combining V-Cut technology with laser cutting, three-dimensional products are created from two-dimensional sheets.

The company continuously expands its manufacturing capabilities. Laser processing of roll material with a Conveyor System is also part of the portfolio, enabling SKT to efficiently implement even demanding and customised customer requirements.

Hybrid processing with laser, knife and routing module

SKT GmbH has an extensive machine park, which also includes a eurolaser XL-3200. The laser system is used for processing technical textiles and plastics, particularly acrylic. The thermal laser cutting process allows the cut edges to slightly melt and be cleanly sealed if required.

In addition, the machine is equipped with mechanical tools such as a 1 kW routing module and an oscillating knife. The machine park is complemented by a eurolaser XL-3200 with Conveyor System, which enables the automated processing of roll material. This allows SKT to process a wide range of materials efficiently and flexibly.
