What exactly is being produced?

Polyurethane spacers for electronic assemblies

At the Teisnach plant in the Bavarian Forest, spacers made of polyurethane are cut using high-precision laser processing. Thanks to its material properties, the foam plastic is ideally suited for electronic assemblies where the highest dimensional accuracy and cleanliness are required. Instead of former punching and blade-based processes, the laser now ensures precise, lint-free cuts without post-processing. With the eurolaser M-800, material-related contamination and resulting short circuits in electronic devices are a thing of the past.

At Roh­de & Schwarz, state-of-the-art la­ser pro­cess­ing en­sures the high qua­li­ty of so­phis­ti­ca­ted e­lec­tron­ics and test and mea­sure­ment pro­ducts. Pre­cise, lint-free cuts in­crease di­men­sio­nal ac­cu­ra­cy, re­duce post-pro­cess­ing and en­hance the ef­fi­cien­cy of pro­duc­tion pro­cess­es. Es­pe­cial­ly for po­ly­u­re­thane spa­cers, hou­sings and e­lec­tron­ic as­sem­blies, the la­ser gua­ran­tees the high­est pro­duct qua­li­ty and du­ra­bi­li­ty. The tech­no­lo­gy not on­ly op­ti­mi­ses em­ploy­ees’ work­flows, but al­so sup­ports com­pli­ance with the high­est sa­fe­ty and qua­li­ty stan­dards.

Outstanding small-batch manufacturing
