The Dutch Le­o­lux Fur­ni­ture Group (LFG) ma­nu­fac­tures top-class de­sig­ner fur­ni­ture. In ad­di­tion to the pre­mi­um brand Le­o­lux, the life­style brand Po­de and the com­pact, time­less E­vi­dence fur­ni­ture, the 450 em­ploy­ees al­so pro­duce fur­ni­ture for the pro­ject mar­ket un­der the name Le­o­lux LX. The some­times un­con­ven­tion­al pro­ducts are sold world­wide and ma­nu­fac­tured to or­der. In this way, LFG pre­vents va­lu­a­ble raw ma­te­ri­als or e­ven en­tire pro­ducts from re­mai­ning un­sold. E­ve­ry cus­to­mer is of­fe­red an ul­ti­mate choice of ma­te­ri­als, co­lours and com­fort op­tions.

How are the collections of the Leolux Furniture Group created?

Design expertise meets sustainable implementation

Sus­tain­a­bi­li­ty is the star­ting point of fur­ni­ture ma­nu­fac­tu­ring at LFG. Time­less de­sign and high qua­li­ty en­sure that the fur­ni­ture is of­ten used for ge­ne­ra­tions. Re­up­hol­ster­ing fur­ther ex­tends its ser­vice life. The col­lec­tions are de­ve­lo­ped in col­la­bo­ra­tion with free­lance de­sig­ners from a­cross Eu­rope and are brought to se­ries pro­duc­tion by the com­pa­ny’s own pro­duct de­ve­lo­pers. Tech­ni­cal di­rec­tion is pro­vi­ded by re­nowned stu­di­os such as Stu­dio Tru­ly Tru­ly (Le­o­lux) and Stu­dio Ro­de­rick Vos (Po­de). At the Vi­si­tor Cen­tre, vi­si­tors can ex­pe­ri­ence the pro­duc­tion of the Le­o­lux Fur­ni­ture Group du­ring gui­ded tours.

What is the eurolaser system used for?

Precise MDF cutting

As qua­li­ty is the key fo­cus a­long­side in­di­vi­du­al and de­li­cate de­tails, the ow­ners of Le­o­lux re­ly on the XL-1200 la­ser sys­tem from eu­ro­la­ser. The sys­tem is spe­ci­fi­cal­ly de­sig­ned to meet the re­quire­ments of fur­ni­ture ma­nu­fac­tu­ring and e­na­bles the pro­ces­sing of ve­ry wide ma­te­ri­als up to 2.20 m – a de­ci­sive fac­tor, par­ti­cu­lar­ly in the sea­ting fur­ni­ture seg­ment. Le­o­lux cuts all MDF parts u­sing the eu­ro­la­ser la­ser sys­tem. Chips, dirt and blunt tools are there­fore a thing of the past. Au­to­ma­tic nes­ting al­lows the MDF base boards to be u­ti­li­sed al­most com­plete­ly, re­du­cing waste to a mi­ni­mum. Thanks to the ra­di­us-free la­ser tool, a­ny con­tours can al­so be cut wi­thout tool-re­la­ted li­mi­ta­tions.
