Smartfeed for roll material
With Smartfeed, the feed in the Conveyor System is precisely aligned with the cutting data. The software ensures that all parts are completed in a single operation. If the system detects incompletely positioned contours, cutting only begins after optimal material transport.
This prevents interrupted cuts, increases process reliability and significantly improves material efficiency. Especially when processing roll material, Smartfeed enables a consistently precise and cost-efficient production process.
RFID in production
With RFID, eurolaser adds a key component to laser cutting for transparent production processes. Using the Label Module, individual parts can be uniquely identified and enriched with additional information directly during processing – contactless and without line of sight.
This enhances traceability, supports downstream process steps and warehouse management, and helps to systematically reduce sources of error. In this way, precise cutting becomes a consistently efficient workflow.
Can micanite be cut with a laser?
Micanite is widely used as an electrical and thermal insulation material – for example in electric mobility or in wind turbine generators. But how well can this technical synthetic mica be processed with a laser?
That’s exactly what we tested at eurolaser. Our material test shows how precisely micanite can be laser cut and what matters for achieving clean, high-quality results.

EKA Board from KOHLSCHEIN in laser testing
The material test on the eurolaser M-800 with Shuttle Table System demonstrates how efficiently EKA wood pulp board performs in laser processing. Material thicknesses from 1.0 to 8.0 mm were tested using the honeycomb table concept, which is excellently suitable for achieving clean results when processing cardboard and wood-based materials. The result: excellent cutting quality, precise contours and radius-free inner cut-outs across all tested material thicknesses.
FFT Group expands its machine park
The FFT Group is expanding its production capacities with another CO₂ laser system from eurolaser. The company has relied on our technology since 2012 – now an XL-1600 with Twin Table System has been added to the machine park. Parallel loading and unloading significantly increases productivity. The new filter unit enables automatic, material-based extraction – reducing energy use, operator time, and increasing sustainability.
