Laser engraving of non-metallic materials
CO₂ laser engravers for wood, acrylic, marble and much more
The CO2 laser systems from eurolaser are ideal not only for cutting but also for laser engraving. A resolution of up to 1200 dpi means that even high-resolution pictures can be reproduced. Laser engravings are permanent and produced in a contactless process. This means that the material does not have to be clamped and that there is no dust or chippings. In contrast to mechanical tools the laser never gets blunt, so the quality of the engraving remains consistently high. There is, of course, no need to sharpen or replace tools, either.
What are the benefits of engraving with laser?
- No material damage and less breakage thanks to force-free processing
- No chippings – so no cleaning of area around the machine necessary
- High repeat accuracy
- No material fixation necessary
- Less noise generation during engraving
- Consistently high engraving quality because there is no tool wear
- High degree of flexibility in the choice of contours – without any need for tool construction or changeover
