Shuttle table scan: No additional scan time, full processing area
When using the shuttle table system, the camera is installed in front of the processing table. The scan runs parallel to the shuttle process so that the additional scan time is completely eliminated and the full processing area can be scanned.
Contour Detection: Contour detection
By detecting contours on the material, the appropriate cutting data is automatically generated and positioned. This means that contours for which no job data is available can also be processed. Time-consuming manual data creation is no longer necessary.
Pattern Matching: Pattern Matching
The surface scan enables material patterns to be recognized. Software-controlled, the positioning of the cutting data can thus be carried out taking the patterns into account. The patterns on the cuts fit together perfectly.
Automation: Automation (print on demand)
By reading QR/barcodes, various application jobs including parameters can be assigned to the material or the respective job. This allows fully automated processes to be implemented (e.g. print-on-demand).
Underlighting: Light-dark contrast for special applications
The shuttle table system can also be illuminated from below. In the case of translucent, multi-layered or laminated material, internal components can be recognised by light-dark contrast and taken into account for processing.
Precise cutting of printed materials
Many applications require precise cutting to existing fiducial marks or other material references. For this purpose, eurolaser offers a smart solution consisting of a camera and evaluation software. Using reference points, the optical recognition system allows printed materials to be cut out precisely along the print contour.
POSITIONplus professional detects contours on materials, whereupon suitable cutting data is created under software control. The time for job preparation is minimised. When using fiducial marks, the marks were previously read in individually. POSITIONplus professional considerably reduces the time required for reading in the fiducials marks and thus optimises the process time.
The indicated time saving is a calculated value of an example application compared to the reading of the individual register marks and may differ depending on the application and print image.
