The software for uniform surface illumination
The LaserScout BACKLIGHT software enables quick and simple engraving of patterns on light-conducting plastic materials such as acrylic. The arrangement of the laser engraved patterns is optimised and allows targeted control of the luminosity for homogenous surface illuminations.

It is as easy as that - just a few settings and you can create perfect backlighting in a multitude of different dimensions. With the preview offered by the software in live mode you can follow the arrangement of the engraving patterns directly and adapt them, if necessary.
Typical application examples include large illuminated displays, the furniture industry, shop fittings and fair booth design, picture frames, city light posters and even illuminated walls and partitions.

The panels used are made of a light-conducting material such as acrylic, which generates a uniform light source. Even illumination over the whole material surface is vital in this application, whereby the light must be deflected vertically to the surface.
