Membrane switches

The cutting of foils is a contactless process. Foil residues and glue can not stick to the tool, the material must not be fixed as well as there will not be any crushing and flying up in shivers in multilayer films. The thermal process may result in the melting of the cutting edge, which in turn leads to a kind of sealing. Thus, an automatic protection against contamination occurs without...

From light to tool

Light as a tool is one of the most successful alternatives to conventional processing methods. The wavelength of the light for material processing is in the invisible infra-red range and can be thought of as a hot beam of energy. We explain the laser technology.

Model aircraft made of balsa wood

Today balsa wood is one of the most widely-used materials in the model making branch. Due to its light weight and high degree of mechanical strength, it is ideally suited for model aircrafts in particular. Due to its very low density, this wood can be cut quickly and chiplessly with a very low laser power of 30 to 100 Watts.
