New laser systems inspire the expert public
International laser fair in Lüneburg in Germany was complete success
On 4 May 2012, laser enthusiasts met in the German town of Lüneburg under the motto “The world visiting eurolaser”. For the first time, a laser fair for the international expert public was hosted here. Visitors came from Europe, North America, South East Asia and the Middle East to learn about the fascinating world of laser technology.
The focus of the event was on the introduction of the new laser system generation of eurolaser, which has already been available to order since the start of the year. The new laser systems feature numerous innovations and extensions which provide even more possibilities for users and thus have huge future potential with regard to flexibility. All kinds of customer requests and ideas have been integrated into this new technology. Two different models were presented, which were configured for the key applications acrylic or textile processing. Apart from the prepared applications (cutting and engraving 10 mm acrylic or cutting of polyester fabric), the visitors could view live samplings on the laser systems. Furthermore there were presentations on five machines, and competent technicians were at hand to answer all questions about the new laser system features and options.
Representatives of some partner companies were on site to provide the interested visitors with further information about supplementary topics.
Synrad Europe gave detailed information about laser beam sources, and Océ-Deutschland GmbH (Canon Group) supplied information on the topic of printing technology. Evonik Röhm GmbH, as leading manufacturer of PMMA (Plexiglas), also granted insight into plastics technology, and Eurosystems S.á.r.l. introduced innovative software solutions.
The programme of the laser fair was rounded off by specialist presentations and guided tours with insight into the operational processes and a look behind the scenes at eurolaser.
