Laser cutting of ejection rubbers
Task:
Cutting of ejection rubbers for a cutting die. The rubbers should have an inclined cutting edge with an angle of 15 degrees and be adjusted optimally to the position of the knives.
Remarks:
The laser system can be converted to mechanical machining tools within minutes.
Through this, the user gains the significant benefit of being able to realise all required applications with one system:
- Laser cutting and marking with cutting dies
- Inclined cutting of ejection rubbers
- Marking of ejection rubbers
- Prototype production
Tool wear is insignificant and there is the option to use other optional tool inserts for other applications.
Conclusion:
By using the tool head TzT75P, ejection rubbers for die casts can be produced precisely and quickly.
Diagonal cuts up to 15° can be realised “dry”. In addition, the cut parts can be labelled (depending on the material), which facilitates subsequent mounting on the die cast. Double-sided adhesive mounting foil with liner is also cut safely.
